DNS: Domain Name System

This acts as the phone book for the internet. It converts human friendly computer host names into IP addresses.

MX: Mail Exchanger

MX records are a specific type of DNS record used to locate the mail exchanger for the domain specified in the domain name side of the email address. The mail exchanger is any computer configured to accept delivery of email for that domain.


Hosting:

The web hosting or server is like a space that you rent out to have your business in. Its the space itself without any furniture and products. Hosting service is how your store your files so that your domain would then pull the files from the hosting server to give it to the IP address that is calling for the files.

FTP:

FTP is the acronym for File Transfer Protocol. It is used to transfer files between computers and networks. You can use FTP to exchange files between computer accounts, transfer files between an account and a desktop or access online software archives.

c-Panel:

cPanel is a Linux based web hosting control panel that provides a graphical interface and automation tools designed to simplify the process of hosting a web site. cPanel utilizes a 3 tier structure that provides capabilities for administrators, resellers, and end-user website owners to control the various aspects of website and server administration through a standard web browser.
